NFL star Xavier Worthy has filed a lawsuit against ex-fiancée Tia Jones, accusing her of lying about abuse and stealing from him.

Here’s the wild timeline, including hair-pulling, cheating accusations, and a missing $30K.

💥 From Power Couple To Court Battles

What started as a swoon-worthy love story between Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy and track star Tia Jones has now turned into a full-blown legal showdown — and it’s getting messier by the day.

Worthy is suing Jones, claiming she lied about domestic abuse, trashed his home, and walked off with thousands in cash, jewelry, and even his Rolls Royce keys.

The lawsuit was filed Monday in Williamson County, Texas, just two weeks after Worthy was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence. That arrest? Tossed out. Prosecutors chose not to move forward. Now Worthy’s flipping the script and coming for Tia.

🧾 Inside The Lawsuit: What Xavier Worthy Is Alleging

According to the documents, Worthy — 21 and fresh off a breakout rookie season — says Tia Jones:

  • Assaulted him by ripping out his hair
  • Destroyed his game room and caused $150,000+ in damage
  • Stole $30,000 in cashjewelry, a handgun, and Rolls Royce keys
  • Made up the assault allegations after he asked her to move out

The reason he wanted her gone? Worthy says a private investigator found out Tia was cheating, and once he confronted her, all hell broke loose.

Now he’s asking for up to $1 million in damages and wants the case to go before a jury.

🛡️ Protective Orders Filed

The drama doesn’t stop at the lawsuit. Both Xavier and Tia have now filed protective orders against each other.

Jones filed hers earlier this month, and Worthy fired back with one of his own on the same day he filed his suit.

No public statements yet from either legal team. Tia’s lawyer hasn’t responded, and Xavier’s attorney, Samuel Bassett, declined to comment.

🥺 From Valet Station to Courtroom

This relationship started like a romantic movie.

According to Tia, they met by accident when they both showed up at the same valet station.

She was running late for dinner, he was just… there.

By July 2024, they were engaged and moving into a $2 million home together.

Tia even shared her excitement on TikTok about living with her NFL bae.

At the time, she was training in Texas and he was playing for the University of Texas.

Fast-forward a few months: Worthy was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs — No. 28 overall pick — and quickly became a go-to target for Patrick Mahomes.

But the fairytale didn’t last.
