Shemar Moore is setting the record straight. After rumors spread that he and Jesiree Dizon had called it quits, the “S.W.A.T.” star took to Instagram to confirm the news—while also delivering a firm message to his followers.

Though their romantic relationship has ended, Shemar made it clear that there is no bad blood between him and Jesiree.

He praised her as a “dope-ass mama” and declared that they will always share a bond as co-parents to their daughter, Frankie.

However, what he won’t stand for is negativity.

Shemar shut down any unkind or hateful comments about Jesiree, reminding everyone that his personal life is his business—though he understands that being a public figure comes with scrutiny.

Still, his message was simple: Respect their situation and mind your own.

A Look Back At Their Relationship

Shemar and Jesiree’s connection began in 2020, shortly after the passing of his mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore.

Their relationship became public in January 2023 when Shemar revealed they were expecting a child together.

But even as they embraced parenthood, marriage was never part of Shemar’s plan.

In a November 2024 interview with People magazine, he admitted he didn’t see wedding bells in their future.

“I didn’t have a good role model of marriage in my life—not my mother, not my father, not anyone close to me,” he explained, questioning societal expectations of marriage.

Instead, Shemar emphasized the importance of living in the moment.

“Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, but Jesiree, I’ll give you everything I got today and tomorrow. She is my partner. She is the mother of Frankie. Frankie has a dope-ass mama, and I’m gonna try to be a dope-ass daddy. And we’re gonna do that until God calls my name,” the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 actor said.
