Halle Bailey went through a gamut of emotions over the last 24 hours regarding DDG taking their son, Halo, on Kai Cenat’s live stream.

On Wednesday, the singer and actress took to Twitter to share that she was out of town and “extremely upset” that her baby was “in front of millions of people.”

According to Halle, her issue was that she wasn’t notified about it and hadn’t approved it beforehand.

“Hi everyone. Just so you know, I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified, and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector, and I’m saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially while I’m out of town.”

After receiving pushback from social media users, Halle Bailey revealed that she’s experiencing “severe postpartum” and wants her boundaries to be respected.

“As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. Nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.”

Halle Bailey then deleted the tweets and temporarily disabled all of her social media accounts.

Meanwhile, DDG was on social media thanking Kai Cenat for all of the gifts his baby boy received after appearing on the live stream.

On Thursday, Halle returned to social media and admitted she may have “overreacted.”

She also thanked Kai for the gifts.

“Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. Thank u Kai for the gifts for Halo.”

Halle Bailey is still trending as Twitter discusses the incident.

Where do you stand on this? Did Halle Bailey overreact? Does DDG have the right to take his son where he wants to? Is the internet being too critical of Halle?
