Darius McCrary, known for his role in “Family Matters,” is turning heads with a unique approach to his recent arrest for unpaid child support.

Following his November 27, 2023 arrest on one felony count of failure to pay child support, court documents reveal an outstanding balance of $52,788.04 as of March 12, 2019.

During his arraignment, a judge set McCrary’s bond at $13,197.01 and mandated GPS monitoring, echoing a similar incident in 2015.

Now, the actor is leveraging his legal troubles by offering $50 jailhouse orange hoodies featuring his name, mugshot, and inmate number.

McCrary’s social media announcement invites those who “want to be in his business” to purchase the merch.

In a video posted on his Instagram, McCrary addresses his child support issues, revealing that his 15-year-old son was allegedly kidnapped over a decade ago.

Placed on child support in Oakland County, Michigan, McCrary claims to have faced arrest for owing over $100,000 in unpaid child support.

The caption reads, “How it started… Please follow and pray for my son @z_alanoly777; he is now 15, and we are almost through the Underground Railroad nearing freedom ✊🏿 I love you, son…”

As we await a resolution on his child support drama, our hope is for Darius McCrary to reunite with his son sooner rather than later.
