This hiatus follows a recent controversy involving Chrisean, who has been accused of assaulting singer James Wright Chanel during Tamar Braxton’s Love & War Tour in Los Angeles.
The incident, as reported by LeTroy Davis from Tamar’s team, allegedly occurred due to Chrisean’s disappointment about not being able to perform at the show.
While the news circulated, Chrisean Rock addressed the situation on social media, hinting at a reluctance to engage with false narratives.
She shared, “I been brought up before and I know how it goes a certain way…false narratives saying ‘this happened,’ ‘she did that.’ I don’t know I think it’s just a clout-chasing thing…honestly I need to start protecting my name.“
On the other side of the story, James Wright Chanel also took to social media, proclaiming his innocence and emphasizing his commitment to maintaining joy and positivity despite the incident.
In his words, “All I did was went to work, Chile. Y’all already know what type of person I am…but let me tell you what ain’t nobody gone do…ain’t nobody gone take my joy, my praise, my worship. Y’all should see my f— face, and I still got joy.”
